Non EU students can currently apply to study English Language in the UK via two routes:
Student Visitor Visa
- Minimum 15 hours daytime contact per week.
- No minimum level of English required; proof of current level of English not required.
- Not allowed to work as a Student Visitor.
- Not allowed to study longer than 11 months.
- Not allowed to extend visa.
- Minimum 15 hours daytime contact per week.
- Reqiured to show evidence of current level of English which should be minimum B1 on the CEFR which will allow you to study at level B2.
- Required to show sufficient funds in bank account for at least 28 days before applying for visa. Original bank statements required. Funds required are £800 for each month you intend to study with a maximum of 12 months.
- Confirmation of Acceptance of Study (CAS) required.
- Visa can be extended in the UK.
- Allowed to work up to 10 hours during term time and full-time in holidays.
- UKBA rules governing Tier 4 students must be followed.
We are aware that our students are a long way from home, in a country that may be confusing to them; therefore we aim to make the learning environment as friendly and relaxed as possible. We count it as a great privilege to welcome young people from so many different countries and endeavour to do everything possible to make their time on the courses happy and profitable.

NEW FOR 2011....Drop-in classes for EU students £25 per class. Students can decide to take classes when convenient without committing to a longer course. Available Monday to Friday 9.00-12.00.
